"Please help Our DeeDee. DD has had a rough start to life she was born on the streets of In Walton County Florida. She lived in a shelter until she was transported to Maine by the Road trip Home. We adopted her from Greater Androscoggin Humane society. She was 8 weeks old. She is now 8 months old and we have found out that she will need orthopedic surgery to correct angular deformity in her leg. My husband is a 100% service connected disabled veteran she helps my husband a lot. Our only income is my husband’s disability pension so money is tight. The vet bills from this surgery will be approximately 2,000 total. I have looked for help everywhere and I have heard everything from dump her back at the shelter to just cut the leg off. DD is a sweet dog she is in a lot of pain when she walks, and has been very sad not being able to play with her adopted brother. With all that she does for our family she deserves to have as normal and pain free life as possible. Please help me help our DeeDee even the smallest amount helps. Thank you very much for taking the time to read about our DeeDee, "

It's good to be alive!
Good afternoon!
My kids just got back from Sunday school and the bus driver told my other half that my son was having an attitude problem! Ugh! The life of a mommy and a daddy. Gotta love it.

Where have I been you ask? Well to be honest, I always do my darndest to be honest. My husband and I separated, it was a horrible event but long story short I cant wait to get divorced! Because if there's one thing I know its that team work makes the weight of the world and the work we do, whether as parents, a social worker, teacher etc... lighter.

Truly believe when you lift a person you will get much further in life and that you can persuade them to be right by your side no matter what when you use honey rather than vinegar.

Hey! I'm still here and I'm safe and well! A mommy will survive! And I'm sooo close to graduating beauty school! I will finally be able to tell you about the ultimate work at home experience!

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3002422197436884691.post-25616879871274058992013-05-29T05:26:00.001-07:002013-05-29T05:26:42.746-07:00Homemade Laundry Detergent !
Sea Salt foot bath this mornimg while I write, yes! It's a good start to the day!

Anyone stressed due to bills? While I was locked from this account I discovered many ways to to save my.family money. One of those was to make my own laundry detergent.

The most cost effective recipe took me almost 6 months to perfect. I didn't want to pass it on if it wouldn't benefit others. Because if your a mother, or anyone whoa busy you need your precious time.

So I found many recipes online then found people needed to use 3,4,sometimes 5 ingredients! I had to run to different stores to find all I needed and it didn't amount to much saving using gas. Online, shipping, no I'm a stay at home wife, I make extra cash from a home based business that I have.decided to take my time with, because I just don't want stress. If you need energy.contact me on Facebook, good prices! Anyway.

So. With out further adieu, the recipe I have found most effective in cost and cleaning:

Oxycleaner: there is a generic at the dollar store called "LAs totally Awesome" .

Zote Bar: This soap bar is meant for handwashing so it has everything you need for clean laundry. It's all natural, hubby even uses it for fishing bait! It cost a whopping .90 here in Maine and makes 3-4 batches of detergent for this recipe.

I used the 2:1:1 ratio everyone keeps talking about but my recipe has 2 ingredients. I didn't see the need for washing soda since oxygen cleaner and Zote bar both have whiting(color safe) and power cleaning actions.

It's just more for your washer to do. I cloth diaper too, so I need gentle and effective. We all have sensitive skin so the Zote bar is awesome to get your clothes soft and smelling nice! It's got coconut oil, citronella, and tallow! All natural!

Recipe for powdered detergent:

2 cups of grated Zote bar
1 cup of Oxygen Cleaner

That's it! Whew!

Mix ingredients throughly, keep in an an air tight container.

Use a tablespoon for regular loads, 2 tablespoons for large and heavily soiled clothes. With my diapers and clothes I usually get about 30 loads. And the cost for 30 loads is a whopping .85 cents!

The blog is located at http://www.lifeafterthearmy.com/. I read through a few posts and was impressed with his posts. In particular with a post about jobs and Facebook. Ive seen so much news on the subject but no one ever in my circle of influence had decided to elaborate on how to handle the somewhat "new criteria" for getting a job that wasnt umpteen pages long(exagerating here lol). Im busy so I like posts that are informative yet to the point.

So heres my opinion on this blog; from exclusive music videos for military family & spouses to up to date job search tips; its a great find!

I will be sharing it with my friends on facebook. Also hoping hubby will see it and take the help Curtez offers.

Its wonderful when soldiers have eachothers backs, no matter what branch and any and little way, Hoorah!

When the reader comes in the mail it does come with some packing protection. The other representatives in my company, well many of them also use Square.

To my suprise no one had thought about getting a protective case.

I did some searching and I found a few etsy account holders were crotchetting little yarn baggies and keychains, cute!

But it wasn't protective enough for me. A little more search I found some cool YouTube videos of cases but no information on how to purchase them!

Dang so one more lead. The search took me to the Apple store online. These puppies were $25! They are snazzy but being a stay at home mom with a new business and 3 little ones I wasn't ready to dish that out!

So silly me Im totally into recycling, reducing, and reusing, I found a perfect fit and solution!

It was cheap cheap but if you can't afford to dish $25 check it out!

Is it an oversized Altoid or is it a Square Credit Card Reader?

If you cant find these in your area let me know. They run about $2 here.

It fit prefect. I cut the protective foam it came with to fit snuggly into the small tin.

Its a credit card reader that hooks up into your phone. Once you download the app and enter your information automatically the system will send you the reader in the mail. It takes about a week to arrive most times less.

I love it because I can take card customers for my SoyLicious.com candles! Its soo easy to use too.

You will need to hook it up to a bank account before your first use. Its awesome because this way your funds will deposit overnight!

If you are in direct sales or sell anything at the farmers market, flea market this is a must have!

We live around saving, making it,sharing it,spending it. It makes the economy go around.

So its said in order to become wealthy, you must control expenses.

I took a jump! We have gone green and our babies are cloth diapering!

Literally I just jumped in because I knew nothing of cloth diapering except that wow, it "looked" expensive at first glance.

Don't worry though, there is a great company providing many parents solutions.

I got my Econobum starter set about a month ago and I love it! Scarey at first but now I'm freeeee! I will never have to buy another toxic diaper in my childs life!

It feels good because not only am I saving money and controlling expenses, but I'm also helping save the earth!

I know many people hesitate to switch, its ok, I was there. No one says you have to go loco and jump, there are "trial kits" to help you slowly transition.

I'm still new at this but feel free to ask me questions. You may be able to find a cloth diapering club in your area.

I do a lot of self study online myself, but if I can help in any way, I am willing!

Now for the best prices I recommend Kelly's Closet. It's here in Maine and they ship nationwide. Earn free diapers too! What a deal!

Click here to shop Kelly's Closet.

There are many lists out there that give you the links I do. Many people are good at holding them from you till you pay a price. Recently I saw a woman online charging people $20 for a view of her list! I have to be honest. I did see her list before she started charging for it. I personally beleive that giving this list to you free of charge will bring blessings. Seriously, its not all about the money. If it were I would have quite blogging a long time ago!

Having been there done that and feeling the frusteration, then finding people like the woman above was a little diappointing. With all the ideas on this page and the list provided I hope someone can find a few eggs. To be honest, there was time when ChaCha was my daily job, sometimes I just did it with my children in my lap. Did I learn alot? Of course! Was the pay great? No not really, but $10 a day for gaining knowledge and doing it freely, whenever you want is not bad. That paid for gas in town :0).

I'm a Licensed Student Cosmetologist and aspiring to work in my own @ Home Salon. I have been told by my teachers it will take some time to gather up clients but I'm convinced that working with a company such as Arbonne will help me connect with more clients faster.

I don't know all the specifics of having a home salon as of yet but I did find a website that teaches you how to go about it if you are already a cosmetologist.

My other thought was that working at home as a cosmetologist doesn't have to be a salon right away. I have no problem with being a cosmetologist who promotes healthy companies such as Arbonne.

Some of you that have done some MLM understand the benefit! Not only will I build clientele faster but I will also be building a nice retirement.

I have seen many people take advantage of body wraps for their salon business too. Have you heard of "It Works!" ? well these are more like supplements to a salon income but you get the idea.

You can contact someone at the SBA to get more information about starting a salon at home, your state or read up on it like I do online. I found HomeSalonSuccess.com and variious articles on places like eHow,ezineartilces etc... that give you the basics.

Once I know more and I take that class, you better be sure that I'm going to come share what I have learned with you!
In most states you must not have a criminal record, legally be a resident of the United States, take an exam and pay a fee.

It is against Federal Law to require a person to be a US Citizen to perform these duties.

You can perform these duties after being appointed and been sworn in from your home or even travel to provide your service(mobile notary)! You can also be hired by someone but our focus is working @ home with our own hours.

There is no required training courses in many states such as Maine. Maine citizens may go to the states website and download the training guide, application and exam, pay the fee and wait for approval!

States like California who do have training requirements will direct you to where you can get your training and steps to becoming qualified and then appointed.
This arrangement is sometimes called “telecommuting”, and it allows parents the opportunity to set up a workspace in their homes to earn a living instead of having to leave the home daily.

They might also choose to start their own businesses, instead of working for another company. Working from home is rising popularity and the Internet is offering many different types of careers and business opportunities to moms.

I can even remember the first time I was bit by my dog" Chocolate", a Chocolate Lab lol.

I remember it hurting my feelings and of course it hurt physically too, but I was not phased, even then I was convinced animals had their own psychology and was curious as to "why" the dog bit me.

It has been a hobby interest ever since. In high school I attended a 2 year vocational course in Animal Care that introduced me to the entire Animal Care Field. I loved it and got As all across.

In high school even I had a time where someone not so fascinated with animals would have left.

The first time ever walking a dog the dog got loose! it was sooo sad, long story short, the dog died on his venture trying to track down his vacationing human mom and dad.

I though for sure I failed my class, but my teacher and the school saw something else, they saw determination. I kept going to school even though my heart was broken. I excelled in all areas, even wildlife rehabilitation. Other cane to me to get help!

I got a full scholarship and college funds for this toughness. I was so happy!

So naturally you probably see where that took me. Yes, I started a pet care business. It was very rewarding teaching people about animal health and how to preserve it with @ home pet care.

Fact is people just don't understand what they are doing to their pets when they leave them to board somewhere, even if its a vets office.

I made my own schedule, I charged whatever I want(affordable of course, I love animals), and I gave lots of love to my pet clients! It was very therapeutic and felt great to be helping someones health bill stay lower.

Since I had worked in pet care for a while I already had a ton of supplies and so the start up was not costly for me.
If you are being sent a check for cashing to do a mystery shop DON'T CASH IT!, It is a fake check that if you cash will get you in trouble with the law!!! When is the last time you went to work on your first day(regular job) and got paid for the whole week, job or project? NEVER.

OK so now that that is said I want to share my love for mystery shopping. I love it, love it, love it! I have seen my work improve a lot of services, have people keep their jobs, people get fired etc...Mystery shopping works! The companies that use mystery shoppers are companies that provide services to consumers like me and you.

The pay is anywhere from $5 to even over $100 per job/project. The length of the jobs or projects can be anywhere from a few minutes to hours.

A good organized person with good writing and communication can make a decent income. Many times you will get reimbursed for what you buy which means its free!

The biggest reward I found in mystery shopping is making shopping for future customer a better experience.
I felt no one else had the privilege of the first word, first step, all the firsts our son would have.

If Daddy missed it I understood, but for Mommy it was not OK to miss. At the time my husband was a full time student, working part time receivIng his GI Bill. It covered a lot of the bills and we had the ability to buy and acquire a ton of toys and needs not only for our son but for s someone else's child too.

It took me a little while, but I ended up signing up to give care with the local Child Development Center. I also got approved to take care of children whos parents were in training or working and receiving some type of help from the welfare system.

I loved it and it worked out great for me for a little while. But it was not something my son liked. He was a jealous little man and did not like sharing mommy. Needles to say that ended my Daycare @ Home days a year and a half later.

It was very nice though while we had it. If your children can handle you loving on other children go for it! My child happened to be a friends son, so it was hard not to give him just as much love.
